24 05 2011Offers have come in for the VIP Beau’s tour package, and the most recent offer is a 3000$ digital advertising package from Steve at Think Out Loud! in Ottawa. I’m assuming he’s a huge fan of Beau’s Brewery as he Twitted “Will Out bid if have to! I want this tour!” – I love his enthusiasm and the great offer!

Preparing my garage to charge a Tesla Roadster

Can anyone guess what this orange cable is and why it is routed to my garage? Well, since I’m currently renovating the basement in my house; I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to run a 30amp cable to my garage to allow quicker charging of an electric car!
Curious what the difference in charge is? With a standard 3 prong household plug, the Tesla Roadster would take 48 hours to charge – but with this cable installed (and hooked up to the proper breaker) will allow me to charge the supercar in 10 hours from empty to full!
The job isn’t complete yet – but I will post more pictures when it is! 🙂

My big swap has been made!

It’s official, the big swap has been made! I trekked to Vankleek Hill Ontario this afternoon to meet and trade with the co-founder of Beau’s brewery, Steve Beauchesne and closed the deal. As you can see from the picture above, he was ecstatic! 🙂 Steve traded me a VIP Beau’s Brewery Tour for my Telecaster Electric Guitar.
